Reaction Steps
1,1-Dimethylethyl 4-[[(tetrahydro-3-oxo-1,1-diphenyl-3H-oxazolo[3,4-a]pyrazin-7(1H)-yl)carbonyl]amino]-1H-benzimidazole-1-carboxylate (74 mg, 0.13 mmol) was suspended in ethyl acetate (5 mL). A 4 M hydrogen chloride/ethyl acetate solution (6 mL) was added thereto, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight. The reaction solution was concentrated, and then ethyl acetate was added to the residue. The obtained crystals were collected by filtration and washed with ethyl acetate to obtain the title compound (51 mg, yield 79%).
