Dess-Martin periodinane (9 mg, 0.021 mmol) was added to a solution of 31 (9 mg, 0.016 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (0.16 mL) at room temperature. After 4 h the reaction mixture was diluted with 20% EtOAc/hexanes (2 mL) and filtered through celite, washing with additional 20% EtOAc/hexanes (2 mL). The filtrate was concentrated in vacuo. The crude residue was purified on 4 g silica (hexanes→EtOAc, gradient) to afford 4.5 mg (56%) of the title compound (32).
