A solution of 4-{2-[5-(2-aminomethyl-4-fluorophenoxy)-indazol-1-yl]-ethyl}-piperazine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (0.050 g, 0.107 mmol) dissolved in dichloromethane (2 mL) was treated with (3-tert-butyl-isoxazol-5-yl)-carbamic acid 4-nitrophenyl ester (0.081 g, 0.266 mmol) and stirred at room temperature for 24 hours. The mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate (60 mL), washed with 1N NaOH (5 mL), water (2×10 mL), brine, dried over MgSO4, and concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was chromatographed eluting with acetone/hexanes (2:3, then 1:1) to afford 0.056 g of product (83% yield).
