Reaction Steps

To a mixture of 6-butyl-3-[(1,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)methyl]-2-methyl-5-{[2′-(5-oxo-4,5-dihydro-1,2,4-oxadiazol-3-yl)biphenyl-4-yl]methyl}pyrimidin-4(3H)-one (0.25 g) and ethyl acetate (10 mL) was added 4 M hydrochloric acid-ethyl acetate (0.14 mL) at room temperature. The obtained crystallized product was collected by filtration to give the title compound as colorless crystals (0.18 g, 68%).
