Using a procedure similar to that described in example 1 except employing 3-bromo-5-(tert-butyldimethylsilyl)oxymethylpyridine (described in example 69b) and 1-(2-chloro-9,10-dihydro-9,10-methanoanthracen-9-ylmethyl)-4-piperidinone (described in example 1m), the title compound was formed in 51% yield as an oil. TLC analysis (Rf 0.20, 25% ethyl acetate in hexane). MS (CI, CH4) m/z 561 (M+1,100), 563 (40), 589 (M+29,20), 545 (26), 429 (26).
