634 mg of α-(1-ethoxymethyl-5-pyrazolyl)-2,3-dichloro-4-hydroxybenzylalcohol and 367 mg of ethyl bromoacetate are treated in the same manner as described in Example 1 to give 790 mg of α-(1-ethoxymethyl-5-pyrazolyl)-2,3-dichloro-4-ethoxycarbonylmethoxybenzylalcohol.
