A mixture of 3.0 g of 3-(1-ethyl-4-piperidinyl)-6-fluoro-1H-indazole and 8 ml of 4-chlorobenzoyl chloride was heated at 100° C. in a steam bath for 4 hrs. Ether was added and the solid was collected. The solid was recrystallized twice from ethanol-ether to yield 2.9 g (57%) of product, mp 240°-242° C.
