The resultant compound of Example 41 (70.0 mg, 0.161 mmol) in glacial acetic acid (15 mL) was hydrogenated over Pt black (70 mg) for 22 hours. The mixture was filtered, diluted with H2O (50 mL) and brine (50 mL), and extracted with ether (50 mL). The organic phase was washed with water (2×50 mL), saturated K2CO3 (25 mL), and brine (10 mL). Drying (MgSO4) and evaporating gave 54 mg of the desired material. Mass spectrum: (M+H)+ =441.
