Reaction Steps
A mixture of ethyl 4-(3-nitrophenyl)-6-phenyl-3-pyridazinecarboxylate (1.0 g) and 2-dimethylaminoethylamine (0.75 g) was heated for 30 minutes at 90° C. with stirring. After allowing to cool at ambient temperature, the resulting precipitates were collected by filtration, recrystallized from diethyl ether to give 3-(2-dimethylaminoethylcarbamoyl)-(3-nitrophenyl)-6-phenylpyridazine (1.04 g).
