Procedure

A solution of Example 110A (150 mg, 0.32 mmol) in methanol (8 mL) was treated with 5% Pd/C (100 mg), stirred under a hydrogen atmosphere for 1 hour, and filtered through diatomaceous earth (Celite®). The filtrate was concentrated and purified by reverse-phase HPLC to provide the desired product (6.5 mg, 6.4%). 1H NMR (DMSO-d6) δ 2.31 (s, 3H), 6.99 (d, 1H), 7.58 (d, 1H), 7.69 (d, 1H), 7.88 (dd, 1H), 8.06 (dd, 1H), 8.72 (d, 1H), 10.08 (br s, 1H), 13.58 (br s, 1H); MS (ESI(−)) m/e 371 (M−H)−.
