A solution of Example 214A (131 mg) in methanol (10 mL) was treated with Pd/C (10%, 150 mg) under one atmosphere of hydrogen for 16 hours. Filtration and evaporation of the solvents to provide the desired product. 1H NMR (DMSO-d6) δ 2.20 (s, 3H), 2.54 (t, 2H), 2.80 (t, 2H), 3.57 (s, 3H), 6.90 (d, 1H), 7.10 (d, 1H), 7.66 (m, 1H), 7.87 (d, 1H), 8.04 (q, 1H), 8.73 (d, 1H), 9.70 (s, 1H), 13.20 (br s, 1H); MS (ESI(−)) m/e 377 (M−H)−.
