In analogy to the procedures described in example 4D] and 4E], 3-(4-hydroxy-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-naphthalen-1-yl)-propionic acid ethyl ester (example 5B]) was reacted with 2-[2-methyl-6-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-pyridin-3-yl]-ethanol (example 4K]) to give 3-(4-{2-[2-methyl-6-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-pyridin-3-yl]-ethoxy}-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-naphthalen-1-yl)-propionic acid ethyl ester, which was subsequently saponified to yield the title compound as colorless solid.
