Procedure
The compound (248 mg) obtained in Example 42 was suspended in a 50% mixture of methanol and water (10 mL) and was further mixed with 2 N sodium hydroxide solution (0.3 mL), followed by heating under reflux for ten hours. The solvent was removed under reduced pressure, and the residue was crystallized from ethyl acetate. The crystals were collected by filtration, and dried to yield the titled compound (200 mg) as crystals.
