Reaction Steps
A methanol/ethyl acetate (3 mL/1 mL) solution of compound 27 (470 mg, 0.82 mmol) and 1N HCl (0.9 mL), containing 10% palladium on carbon, was stirred under a hydrogen atmosphere until TLC indicated the disappearance of the starting material (about 30 min). The suspension was filtered through a pad of Celite, and the filtrate was concentrated to afford 220 mg (76%) of the title product.
