Reaction Steps
Sodium 7-[(Z)-2-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)-2-methoxyiminoacetamido]-3-(2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl)methylthio-3-cephem-4-carboxylate (58 mg) was reacted with iodomethyl pivalate (51 mg), followed by purifying the reaction product in the same manner as in Example 2, yielding the titled compound (45 mg; 66%) as pale yellow powder.
