Reaction Steps
Sodium 7-[(Z)-2-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)-2-methoxyiminoacetamido]-3-(tetrahydropyran-4-yl)thio-3-cephem-4-carboxylate (90 mg) was reacted with iodomethyl pivalate (84 mg), followed by purifying the reaction product in accordance with the procedure of Example 2, affording the titled compound (82 mg; 77%).
