The preparation of the subject compound is carried out essentially as described for the 2-[4-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-1-piperazinyl] derivative (Example 35), an equivalent of 1-(2-thiazolyl)piperazine replacing the 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)piperazine. After recrystallization from 2-methoxyethanol, the pure compound melts at 297°-300° C.
