Reaction Steps
2-Bromo-5-chlorosulfonylbenzoic acid is prepared by reacting o-bromobenzoicacid with chlorosulfonic acid by the method of Example 1. This is reacted with 2-methylpiperidine by the procedure of Example 6. Recrystallization from acetone-hexane yields the product, m.p. 148°- 150° C.
