Procedure

In a manner similar to the procedure in Reference Example 1, the oily title compound was prepared from ethyl 6-mesylimidazo[2,1-b]thiazole-5-carboxlate and n-propyl mercaptan. ##STR9## NMR(CDCl3)δ: 1.00(t, 3H), 1.43-1.90(m, 2H), 2.88(t, 2H), 6.83(d, 1H), 7.38(s, 1H), 7.47(s, 1H)
