2.68 g (8.38 mmol) of Compound 1 obtained in Example 80 (3) was dissolved in 30 mL of pyridine, 0.88 mL (9.2 mmol) of acetic anhydride was added under ice-cooling and the mixture was stirred at 50° C. for 18 hours. The reaction solution was poured into ice water and the precipitated crystals were collected by filtration to give 3.03 g of 2-(4-acetylamino-3-fluorophenyl)-5-amino-6,8-difluoro-7-methyl-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one (yield: 100%).
