Reaction Steps
Using the procedure of Example 4G but replacing (2S,3S,5S)-2-(Boc-amino)-5-(N-((3-pyridinyl)methoxy-carbonyl)amino)-1-phenyl-6-(4-pyridinyl)-3-(tert-butyl-dimethylsilyloxy)hexane with the resultant compound of Example 5D provided, after silica gel chromatography using 5% methanol in dichloromethane, 334.5 mg (60%) of the desired compound as a white solid.
