Reaction Steps
A procedure similar to that described in Preparation 56 was repeated, except that 25.0 g of 2-amino-5-chloro-pyridine, 100 ml of concentrated sulfuric acid and 12.5 ml of concentrated nitric acid were used, to give 18.5 g of the title compound, melting at 138-139° C.
