The title compound was prepared from 3-aminophenol and 3-(3-bromo-4,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-2-cyano-acrylic acid ethyl ester by a procedure similar to that described for Example 16 in 7% yield. 1H NMR (CDCl3): 7.20-7.16 (m, 2H), 6.96 (d, J=2.1 Hz, 1H), 6.59-6.55 (m, 2H), 4.63 (brs, 2H), 3.96 (s, 3H), 3.92 (s, 3H).
