To N-[6-(1-tert-butyloxycarbonyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridin-4-yl)pyridin-3-yl]-5-methyl-1-[5-(trifluoromethyl)pyridin-2-yl]-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxamide (3.53 g) were added dichloromethane (70 ml) and trifluoroacetic acid (14 ml), and stirred at room temperature for 4.5 hours. To the reaction solution was added 4 N aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide under ice-cooling, and the precipitated solid was purified with basic silica gel chromatography (chloroform/methanol) to give the titled compound (1.8 g) as a yellow solid. MS (ESI) m/z: 429 (M+H)+.
