Reaction Steps
Methanesulfonic acid (35 μl) was added at room temperature to a solution of 5-methyl-N-{6-[4-(morpholin-4-yl)cyclohex-1-en-1-yl]pyridin-3-yl}-1-[5-(trifluoromethyl)pyridin-2-yl]-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxamide (245 mg) in chloroform (9.0 ml) and methanol (1.0 ml), and stirred at the same temperature for 12 hours. After the reaction, the solvent was evaporated, ethyl acetate was added to the resulting residue and the precipitated solid was filtered to give the titled compound (265 mg) as a white solid.
