Prepared from 4-bromo-2,6-dichlorobenzenesulfonyl chloride (500 mg, 1.54 mmol) and 4-amino-1,3-dimethyl-1H-pyrazole (228 mg, 1.55 mmol) in pyridine (3 ml) according to the method of intermediate 1, to give the title compound as a pale pink solid (501 mg, 1.26 mmol, 82%). δH (CDCl3, 300K) 7.65 (2H, s), 7.31 (1H, s), 6.77 (1H, s), 3.78 (3H, s), 2.04 (3H, s). m/z (ES+, 70V) 399.9 (MH+).
