Prepared according to the procedure for N-[(1S,2S)-2-methyl-2-{[5-(trifluoromethyl)pyrazin-2-yl]amino}cyclopentyl]-3-(pyrimidin-2-yl)pyridine-2-carboxamide (Example 144) from (1S,2S)-1-methyl-1-N-[5-(trifluoromethyl)pyrazin-2-yl]cyclopentane-1,2-diamine (Intermediate 25; 190 mg, 0.73 mmol) and 2-(3-methyl-1,2,4-oxadiazol-5-yl)benzoic acid (CAS number 475105-77-2; 179 mg, 0.88 mmol). After work-up, the crude material was loaded directly on to a cation/anion mixed mode cartridge, eluted with DCM and concentrated in vacuo. This was then recrystallised from MTBE to afford the title compound.
