Reaction Steps
To a solution of Example 44A (3.82 g) and bis(4-methoxyphenyl)methanamine (4.51 g) in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone (65.0 ml) was added N-ethyl-N-isopropylpropan-2-amine (4.30 ml) and the mixture was heated at 100° C. for 24 hours. The crude product, isolated by concentration, was purified on silica gel, eluted with a 10, 25, 65% ethyl acetate in hexane step gradient.
