Reaction Steps
To 8.7 g of morpholine was added dropwise 28.8 g of glycidyl 2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5-octafluoropentyl ether. The mixture was then stirred at 80° C. for 10 hours. The reaction mixture was directly purified by silica gel column chromatography. There was obtained 33.4 g of 1-morpholino-3-(2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5-octafluoropentyloxy)-2-propanol (yield 89%).
