2.83 g 2-ethyl-5-fluoro-3-(1.2.3.6-tetrahydropyridin-4-yl)-1H-indole are suspended in 50 ml of methanol and hydrogenated with 0.3 g Pd/C 10% at normal pressure and ambient temperature. The catalyst is suction filtered and the filtrate is evaporated to dryness. 2.3 g (V-1) are obtained in the form of a solid. 1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO): 2.70 (2H, q); 1.19 (3H, t).
