The title compound was prepared according to the experimentals described for Example 22 above from 3-[3-(4-fluorophenoxy)propyl]-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-amine and 2,6-dimethyl-3,5-heptanedione in 61% yield. The reagent 3-[3-(4-fluorophenoxy)propyl]-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-amine was prepared by a similar procedure for the synthesis of 3-[3-(4-chlorophenoxy)propyl]-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-amine in Example 22 above, beginning from 4-fluorophenol instead of 4-chlorophenol.
