Reaction Steps

To a solution of tert-butyl 3-(5-((6-phenylbenzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)methyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl)azetidine-1-carboxylate (150 mg, 0.33 mmol) (prepared as described in compound 1c) in CH2Cl2 (2 mL) was added TFA (0.5 mL, 6.69 mmol). After 1 h, the reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure to give a Compound 42a as brownish oil (115 mg, 99% yield), which was used directly in the next step without further purification. LCMS ESI 349.1 (M+MeOH+H), RT=1.68 min (Method B).
