Procedure

Into a 500-mL roundbottom flask were introduced 100 mL N,N-bis(dimethylsilyl)allylamine and 100 mL toluene and then 5 mg bis(triphenylphosphine)platinum dichloride (PtCl2 (PPh3)2).The reaction was heated for 1 hour at 80° C., and the reaction product was isolated and purified by distillation.
