Reaction Steps

6-Fluoro-3-(2propenyl)-2(3H)-benzothiazolon-5-yl isothiocyanate (3.1 g) and ethyl hexahydropyridazine-1-carboxylate (1.17 g) were added to toluene (15 ml). A catalytic amount of triethylamine was added thereto, and the resultant mixture was stirred at 25° C. for 12 hours. Water was added thereto, and the resultant mixture was extracted with toluene. The extract was washed with water, dried and concentrated to give ethyl 2-[6-fluoro-3-(2-propenyl)-2(3H)-benzothiazolon-5-ylaminothiocarbonyl]-hexahydropyridazine-1-carboxylate (3.3 g). m.p., 40°-42° C.
