Using the procedure of Example 9, (1R, cis, ΔZ) 2,2-dimethyl-3-(3-cycloproplymethoxy-3-oxo-propenyl)-cyclopropane-carboxylic acid and (1,3,4,5,6,7-hexahydro-1,3-dioxo-2H-isoindol-2-yl) methanol were reacted to obtain (1,3,4,5,6,7-hexahydro-1,3-dioxo-2H-isoindol-2-yl)-methyl (1R, cis, ΔZ) 2,2-dimethyl-3-(3-cyclopropylmethoxy-3-oxo-1-propenyl)-cyclopropane-carboxylate with a melting point of 102° C. and a specific rotation of [α]D20 =+6.5°±2° (c=0.3% in chloroform).
