Using the procedure of Example 9, (1R, cis, ΔZ) 2,2-dimethyl-3-(3-cyclopropmethyl-3-oxo-1-propenyl)-cyclopropane carboxylic acid and 1R-(3-phenoxy-phenyl)-2-propyn-1-yl alcohol were reacted to obtain 1R-(3-phenoxy-phenyl)-2-propyn-1-yl (1R, cis, ΔZ) 2,2-dimethyl-3-(3-cyclopropylmethoxy-3-oxo-1-propenyl)-cyclopropane-carboxylate with a specific rotation of [α]D20 =+46°±2° (c=0.5% in chloroform).
