Following Example 15 but using ethyl 3-chlorophenoxyacetate, ethyl 2-chlorophenoxyacetate or ethyl phenoxyacetate, respectively, in place of ethyl phenylacetate, the final compounds obtained were the PGE2 analogs of Example 15 wherein R (of structure IV) is 3-chlorophenoxymethyl, 2-chlorophenoxymethyl or phenoxymethyl.
