The title compound was prepared from 4-chloro-6-methyl-2-(2-pyridinyl)pyrimidine (100 mg, 0.486 mmol) and m-phenetidine (65 μl, 0.486 mmol) similar to Example 11 and isolated as a light tan solid (1116 mg, 78%). 1H NMR (CDCl3): 8.86–8.83 (m, 1H), 8.50 (d, J=8.1 Hz, 1H), 7.89–7.83 (m, 1H), 7.42–7.38 (m, 1H), 7.35–7.30 (m, 1H), 7.09 (s, 1H), 6.96–6.84 (m, 2H), 6.76 (d, J=3.3 Hz, 1H), 6.71 (s, 1H), 4.09 (q, J=7.2 Hz, 2H), 2.53 (s, 3H), 1.47 (t, J=7.1 Hz, 3H).
