The title compound was prepared from a mixture of 4-chloro-6-methyl-2-(2-pyridinyl)pyrimidine (50 mg, 0.243 mmol) and N,N-dimethyl-m-phenylenediamine (51 mg, 0.243 mmol) similar to Example 13 and isolated as a dark green oil (49 mg, 66%). 1H NMR (CDCl3): 8.82–8.79 (m, 1H), 8.47 (d, J=7.8 Hz, 1H), 7.84–7.78 (m, 1H), 7.37–7.21 (m, 3H), 6.68–6.66 (m, 3H), 6.58–6.54 (m, 1H), 2.96 (s, 6H), 2.46 (s, 3H).
