Reaction of bis-(2-methoxyethyl) amine (244 mg) with tert-butyl 5-amino-2-methylthio-4-(3-(vinylsulfonamido)-phenyl)-thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine-6-carboxamide (example 10, 87 mg) was performed according to the method described in example 11. The title compound was first purified by chromatography on silica gel with hept/EtOAc=3/2 (v/v) as eluent and then by HPLC using a Luna C-18 column with the following gradient: CH3CN/0.1% aq. TFA=10/90 to 90/10 (v/v) in 30 min. The title compound was then lyophilized from a mixture of 1,4-dioxane and 0.1% aq TFA.
