Prepared as in Example 12-16 from 3-(1-((3,5-dimethylisoxazol-4-yl)methyl)-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-5,5-dimethylimidazolidine-2,4-dione (Example 12-16a) and 4-(bromomethyl)-1,2-dimethoxybenzene. Yield 67%, white solid. 1H NMR (DMSO-d6, 400 MHz): .s, 6H), 2.16 (s, 3H), 2.42 (s, 3H), 3.72 (s, 3H), 3.73 (s, 3H), 4.49 (s, 2H), 5.20 (s, 2H) 6.92 (m, 2H), 7.00 (d, J=2.0 Hz, 1H), 7.83 (d, J=0.4 Hz, 1H), 8.20 (d, J=0.4 Hz, 1H). MS 454 (MH+). The title compound was shown to inhibit hT2R08 bitter receptor and had an 1050 of 0.08 μM.
