Reaction Steps

To a solution of 7-bromo-4-methyl-2H-benzo[e][1,2,4]thiadiazin-3(4H)-one 1,1-dioxide (262 mg, 0.902 mmol), in DMF (3 mL), DIEA (233 μL, 1.35 mmol) was added. The resulting mixture was stirred at rt for 10 min and MeI (56.0 μL, 0.902) was added. The reaction mixture was stirred at rt overnight and diluted with 20 mL of water. The solid formed was collected by suction filtration and washed with water (2×20 mL) to obtain compound 41a. Mass Spectrum (LCMS, ESI pos.) Calcd. For C9H9BrN2O3S: 304.9 (M+H). Found 305.0.
