Reaction Steps
In the same manner as the synthesis of Compound 1, methyl 3-amino-4-phenylthiophene-2-carboxylate (55.8 mg, 0.24 mmol), triethyl orthoformate (0.53 ml), 2-aminoindene (59.25 mg, 0.45 mmol), and acetic acid (0.06 ml) were used to give 48 mg (0.14 mmol, 58% yield) of the title compound.
