4-((2S)-2-(3-(acetylthio)-2-amino-3-methylbutanoyloxy)-2-(3-(cyclopropylmethoxy)-4-(difluoromethoxy)phenyl)ethyl)-3,5-dichloropyridine 1-oxide (101 mg, 0.170 mmol) was dissolved in pyridine (1 ml), then benzenesulfonyl chloride (60 mg, 0.340 mmol) was added at 0° C., and the mixture was stirred at RT for 2 hours. The reaction was quenched with HCl 1N, and the product was extracted with EtOAc. The organic phase was washed with HCl 1N (2×) and brine, then dried over Na2SO4. The solvent was removed and the crude product was purified by preparative reverse-phase HPLC to give 10 mg of the desired compound (Yield 8%).
