Ethyl 2-((2-methoxyquinolin-8-yl)oxy)acetate (100 mg, 0.383 mmol), (R)-1-amino-3-(3,4-dihydroisoquinolin-2(1H)-yl)propan-2-ol (79.0 mg, 0.383 mmol) and EtOH (1 mL) were combined in a sealed tube. The mixture was stirred at 120° C. for 30 min in a microwave. The EtOH was evaporated and the residue was purified by pre-HPLC to give the desired product (77 mg, yield 48%). 1H NMR (MeOD-d4, 400 MHz) δ: 8.36 (br. s., 1H), 8.16 (d, J=8.8 Hz, 1H), 7.51 (d, J=7.5 Hz, 1H), 7.36 (t, J=7.9 Hz, 1H), 7.28-7.15 (m, 4H), 7.12 (d, J=6.8 Hz, 1H), 7.03 (d, J=8.8 Hz, 1H), 4.82 (s, 2H), 4.23-4.16 (m, 3H), 4.10 (s, 3H), 3.54-3.48 (m, 1H), 3.47-3.40 (m, 1H), 3.38-3.33 (m, 2H), 3.13-2.98 (m, 4H). LCMS (m/z): 422.2 [M+H]+
