N-(2-(5-Chloro-1H-indol-3-yl)ethyl)-3-(pyrrolidin-1-ylmethyl)benzamide was prepared following Method C starting from N-(2-(5-chloro-1H-indol-3-yl)ethyl)-3-(chloromethyl)benzamide (0.050 g; 0.144 mmol) and pyrrolidine (0.042 mL; 0.5 mmol) in THF (3 mL), under a microwave irradiation at 150° C. for 5 minutes. Flash chromatography on silica gel (eluent 3 to 20% ethanol in dichloromethane) furnished 0.037 g (67%) of the title compound as a white solid.
