A solution of dibenzyl-[4-(5-chloro-[1,6]naphthyridin-7-yl)-2-trifluoromethyl-phenyl]-amine, 3, (100 mg, 0.20 mmol, 1 eq) in morpholine (1.25 mL, 14 mmol, 70 eq) was heated up at 100° C. overnight under Ar(g). Once cooled down, the solution was partitioned and extracted with CH2Cl2 (3×10 mL). The combined organic extracts were dried over MgSO4 and the solvent was removed in vacuo. The residue was further purified by silica gel column chromatography with hexane/EtOAc (1:3-0:1) to yield the product as a pale yellow solid (29.1 mg, 26%).
