N-[6-(1-benzyl-1H-1,3-benzodiazol-2-yl)-3-methyl-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]pyrazin-8-yl]piperidin-4-amine (93 mg; 0.21 mmol) is dissolved in 300 μl THF, treated with DIPEA (62 μl; 0.29 mmol) and formaldehyde (62 μl; 0.83 mmol). To this reaction mixture STAB (62 mg; 0.29 mmol) is added and the reaction mixture is stirred for 2 hours. The crude reaction mixture is purified by reversed phase chromatograph (Method: prep. HPLC1).
