Reaction Steps

A mixture of compound 139d (0.050 g, 0.13 mmol) and Pd/C (20 mg) in MeOH (5 ml) was stirred under H2 balloon at room temperature overnight. The mixture was filtered and the filtrate was concentrated to give 40 mg of the crude 7-(tert-butoxycarbonylamino)-3-oxa-9-azabicyclo[3.3.1]nonane-7-carboxylic acid 139a, which was used directly in next step without further purification. MS: calc'd (MH+) 287, measured (MH+) 287.
