A mixture of tert-butyl 4-(aminomethyl)-5-oxa-2-azabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane-2-carboxylate (Wuxi AppTec, CAS 1357351-98-4) (50 mg, 0.22 mmol), TEA (44.4 mg, 0.44 mmol) in DCM (2 mL) was added CH3CO2Cl (26 mg, 0.33 mmol) at 0° C. After 2 hours, the solvent was removed under reduced pressure. The residue was treated with TFA in DCM. After stirring for 2 hours at room temperature, the residue was used in next step without purification. MS: calc'd (MH+) 271, measured (MH+) 271.
